Job Title: Associate Transfer Agent
Position description:
We are a stock transfer agent and financial service provider for public and private companies. We are looking to add a new member to our team. In this role, you would be responsible for receiving all the paperwork associated with the presentation of a transfer, processing of stock transfers, ensure all turnaround requirements are met on a daily basis, and remediate day to day issues that may arise. This position will mainly involve answering phones, responding to emails, processing of stock transfers, stock issuances, Rule 144 restriction removals, administrative tasks and other tasks as required. The position is full time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Specific duties and responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to shareholders, clients, brokers, and other industry professionals
- Process daily stock transfers, issuances and restriction removals
- Learn and comply with securities transfer rules and SEC industry updates
- Assist with other projects and tasks as needed
- Obtain referrals from existing clients with sales commission opportunities available
Qualifications:
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and have the ability to solve problems
- Excellent communication skills: written and over the phone
- Must have proven track record at providing exceptional customer service with prompt responses to client inquiries
- Able to efficiently complete and manage multiple tasks without supervision
- Responsible and reliable team player with ability to work after hours, when needed
- Excellent computer skills a must – Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, other Database programs, etc.
- Office experience and customer service experience required (2 years minimum)
Nice-to-haves (not required):
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
Compensation:
Hourly plus vacation and sick time
